Thon Hotel Hammerfest

Located in the heart of Hammerfest, this hotel is minutes away from the harbor and tourist center, making it a convenient spot for travelers. guests have access to a mall in close proximity. the hotel's quay location also offers great views of the water. the breakfast options are plentiful and suitable for different dietary needs.

The fitness center and some other facilities may need improvement.

The staff here were fantastic, the food was excellent, the room was cozy, the view from the window was beautiful, and the breakfast was tasty.

The wonderful breakfast is suitable for every demanding person. Seafood, fish, fresh salads can be enjoyed in several courses. Fantastic bar at the reception offers a wide range of drinks, friendly service helps to answer every question.

Very central location at the port, rooms overlooking the port - very nice. Room not so big but clean, the breakfast was good, the parking place is public and liable to charges max. parking time of two hours in the time of 8 - 20 o'clock, at night free. if you come late, it is limited.

The location was ideal, being close to the shopping mall and right on the quay. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, make-your-own waffles, and delicious homemade breakfast beans. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations for things to do and see in this city.

12.7.2012 Hammerfest have festival. Lot of noise in hotel area. (punk band) Ear plug is not enough to dampen noice when try sleep. Maybe some festval tent direction movement can help problem.

This hotel is located in the heart of the town of Hammerfest. It is located by the port. The hotel is clean, modern with friendly and helpful staff. In the reception are there is a little coffee bar where you can relax and sit down, looking out of the windows. The coffee you make your self from a Nespreso machine and its free! There is a large Flat screen TV in your room, and programs are in English. Rates as far as the hotels go in this country and this town were reasonable. If your going to this town I recommend this hotel to you.

My only complaint was the buffet breakfast. Not because of the room or seating arrangement's which were absolutely fine, but the choice of food available. Maybe what they served was standard for Norway, I don't know. I would have preferred white bread or baguettes, some sausages or even some croissants, as opposed to the course wholemeal bread that was on offer. As for pickled herring, I know its popular in the region but its not my favorite way to start a day.

Top class hotel at a very reasonable price.

As with many hotels in Scandinavia, reception is not manned permanently, and I found myself wasting time waiting on too many occasions.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Hammerfest. The location is absolutely perfect, right on the quay with a lovely view over the harbour. It's so convenient to be in the city center, within walking distance to all the local restaurants, the Polar Bear Museum, and the shopping center.

All aspects of this hotel exceeded my expectations.

Staff was great,helped me with bus scedules eventhough I didn't asked.gave me immediatley an other room when they figured out that my room was not ready (and this without knowing that I arrive earlier than check in time),hitel nice,clean,comfortable,central.
